Our Purpose
The purpose of the IMA is to glorify Christ, edify the Church, and sanctify the Word by fulfilling the Great Commission. This Alliance is committed to addressing any and all issues that threaten the well-being of Christianity or humanity—whether political, social, economic, or spiritual in nature. All matters addressed by this Alliance will be resolved through theological principles, with the goal of advancing the cause of Christ and promoting the professional development of our ministry and our memebers.
Our history
The IMA has a rich history of well over forty years of serving Asheville and Western North Carolina. The Alliance's roots run deep and it will continue to function as a pillar of Christiananity in the city of Asheville going forward in the 21st Century.
Our mission
We, the ministers of Asheville and the surrounding areas, united by our shared loyalty to Jesus Christ and our common calling to advance His kingdom—both in heaven and on earth—recognize the need for a vibrant, inclusive fellowship. In the spirit of cooperation and effective service to our community, we commit ourselves to work together to achieve these sacred purposes.
